At the end of 2011 Rescue Partners sponsored the Venice Istanbul Sailing Race project start-up. The innovative competition was designed to challenge national prouds calling national teams of three one design boats to race between Venice and Istanbul in long distance and fleet races. Once in Istanbul, the top 8 teams compete in team sailing final event. The project plans for over 500 sailors at sea for about a month. Rescue Partners is currently looking for seeding investors to take the project forward.
